Graduate Exercise Physiology

I was thinking of trying to become an Actuary...advice appreciated?
How difficult is it to break into this field? I have a BS in exercise physiology and almost half way done with a masters in school counseling and development. I have always enjoyed math even though my college math scores where only average. I still feel that math has always come fairly easy to me if I put forth the effort. There is a graduate certificate program at GMU where I am currently earning my masters. I have experience working in the human service field and education fields and I'm assuming this is an asset to working towards an actuary.

in australia/london/a lot of other places you have to complete a LOT of exams to become an actuary
like theres 8 in part 1, 4 in part 2, a couple of compulsory uni units that can be done not for credit, and then 4 half year courses for part 3 in australia. i don't know about other countries but id say it would be pretty similar. and i know that where i live you cant even apply to join the institute of actuaries australia if you havn't got an actuarial studies/math/economics degree or something in a very related field
a graduate certificate program in what? actuarial studies? if there is then do it and you should find it much easier to get into the field
but without specific qualifications probably not. although yes your work experience sounds good
